Hi, I'm Lauren, and I've been meal prepping for over 10 years. I started meal prepping when I was in university, as a way to save time and money. I quickly realized that meal prepping was also a great way to eat healthy and stay organized.
As an Australian representative athlete, I know the importance of eating a healthy diet. I also know how difficult it can be to find the time to cook healthy meals when you're busy. That's why I created this blog, to share my meal prep recipes and healthy meal ideas with you.
My recipes are easy to follow and accessible to everyone. I use simple ingredients that you can find at your local grocery store. I also provide step-by-step instructions, so you can easily recreate my recipes at home.
I want to encourage you to cook more at home and be organized with your meal plan. Meal prepping is a great way to save time and money, and it's also a great way to eat healthy.

Why 'Athlete Lunchbox'
Sport and physical activity has always been a large part of my life and identity. I have participated in Trampoline Gymnastics for over 2 decades with state representation for 20 years and Australian representation for 18.
I have represented my country at Senior International level for over 10 years, earnt medals on the international stage and participated in 2 Olympic cycles (unfortunately not making the Games).
Even as I begin to transition from my competitive athlete identity, I retain a position in the community as a coach and a judge. Positions I have also held for over 15 years.
Throughout my vast experience, I have recognised the importance of fuelling my body properly and being prepared in home life to ensure I got the best out of my training sessions.
While the progression of my chronic illness (endometriosis & adenomyosis) makes resuming my competitive career in trampolining difficult, I now participate in Olympic Weightlifting, and Crossfit and running (when my body allows). You might even catch me still doing flips at national level...
I started my Instagram (and now my website) for the purpose of showing people how easy it is to meal prep and be prepared for all you want to do! It doesn't have to mean perfectly lined up containers on a Sunday, it can simply be a plan to approach your meals to save you time and money.
