This garlic soy sauce is like a magic potion that will make your meal taste like it comes from a fancy restaurant. It's quick, easy, and turns your everyday dishes into something special.Note - measurements can be approximate, but I recommend keeping liquid ratios the same.
2tablespoonoyster sauce, see note 2 (or fish sauce)
6clovesgarlic, minced
1tablespoonbrown sugar

Instructions
Mix together the ingredients (¼ cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp dark soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 6 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp brown sugar, ¼ cup water) with a whisk until sugar is dissolved.
(optional) if you want a thicker sauce, add all ingredients to a small saucepan and whisk until sugar dissolves. Mix together 1 teaspoon cornflour and 2 teaspoon water, then add to the mixture and stir until it begins to thicken. Let it cool before transferring to a container.
Notes
Note 1 - Dark Soy SauceThe dark soy with the soy sauce is recommended to intensify the flavour. If you don't have it, substitute with regular soy.Note 2 - Oyster SauceOyster sauce is like 14 sauces in one and really adds another dimension. If you don't have it, substitute with fish sauce, hoisin sauce, or more soy (if you absolutely have to).Serve withYou can use the sauce as a marinade for proteins like Chicken, Pork, Beef or even in Vegetarian dishes.Try and substitute it as the sauce in Stir Fry dishes. You can use it over some Rice and add your favourite protein and veggies.StoringStore in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. FreezingFreeze in icecubes. Once frozen, move to a ziplock bag and store for 3 months.
