Prepare ingredients
Dice: 6 basil leaves.Mince: 2 garlic cloves
Make Sauce
Whisk 60 ml(¼cups) balsamic vinegar, 60 ml(¼cups) olive oil, 30 ml(2tablespoon) maple syrup, 5 g(1teaspoon) dijon mustard, 6 basil leaves, 2 garlic cloves until combined or shake the jar vigorously to emulsify.

Note 1 - Balsamic Vinegar and Olive OilAs this homemade dressing recipe uses minimal ingredients, I highly recommend using good quality products where possible.Note 2 - Dijon MustardSubstitutions - wholegrain mustard or mustard seeds. You could use American Mustard but it won't have the same oompf as my recommendations.Note 3 - Garlic and BasilI highly recommend uses fresh ingredients where possible as they enhance the flavour of the dressing really well. If you don't have access, you can use shelf-stable like pre-minced garlic and dried basil, but it will impact the taste of the maple balsamic dressing.
