Enjoy a delicious pork and green beans stir fry that’s perfect for a quick dinner. This Asian green bean and pork mince dish features fresh green beans and flavourful pork mince stir-fried to perfection, giving you a satisfying and nutritious meal in no time. Preheat wok over high heat on the stove with half the 30 g(2 tablespoon) sesame oil .
Char beans
Add 500 g(1lb) green beans to heated wok. Quickly mix to spread out then leave for 1 minute (this helps get the smoky char). Repeat twice more then remove.
Pork Stir fry
Decrease heat to medium then add the rest of the 30 g(2 tablespoon) sesame oil . Add 150 g(5 ½oz) brown onion and 2 cloves garlic and cook for 2 minutes until the onion has slightly softened and is fragrant.
Add 500 g(1lb) pork mince, breaking up the mince and stirring until cooked (approx. 3-5 minutes)
Add sauce, 500 g(1lb) green beans and 50 g(½cups) scallion stems, mix well then serve with rice and 250 g(9oz) cucumber.
